Geometric curve flows and integrable equations are highly related, equations such as NLS and KdV have natural curve flow correspondence. In this talk, we will discuss curve flows whose invariants are solutions for KdV-type hierarchies. Darboux transformations for these flows will be constructed based on the corresponding splitting theory. As examples, we will give the curve flow representation for the KdV and the KK equation. This talk is based on the joint work with Chuu-Lian Terng. |
